Roland (Rolly) Munro

I am a NewZealand wood artist whose work is held in public and private collections around the world. My work has featured several publications including, 'New Masters of Wood Turning' 'Ray Key- Collaborations', 'The Fine art of Wood - The Bohlan Collection', 'Conversations with Wood -The Collection of Ruth and David Waterbury' and 'L'Outil'. My work has also featured several times in The American Association of Woodturners magazine. I am strongly influenced by natural forms found around the coastlines of New Zealand including shells, Kina, and fish, what particularly interests me are their textural surfaces and abstract forms.
